Apple is expected to debut new iPhone models and we’re expecting four new iPhones in 6.1 and 6.7-inch sizes. The lineups of the new devices will have the cheaper iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max while the high-end models will be called iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. - Notchless design, possible two circular or single pill-shaped screen cutouts for the front-facing camera
- Upgraded front-facing camera with wider f/1.9 aperture and autofocus capabilities
- Wider and thicker main 48-megapixel camera
- Sony-crafted 48-megapixel Wide camera with Focus pixels and pixel binning to replace the current 12-megapixel Wide camera from iPhone 13 models
- 7-element lens for improved telephoto images and updated ultra-wide camera
- 120Hz ProMotion display refresh Rates will be still supported for Pro models
- Always on-display for the Pro models, see widgets, reminders, etc. without waking the display
- Larger screen display for the Pro models
- iPhone 14 and 14 Max to be available in black, white, blue, red, and purple, while the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will allegedly come in graphite, gold, silver, and purple
- Pro models to have a vapor chamber thermal system to handle the heat from faster computing power and 5G connection
- Pro models to support 8K video recording
- Pro models to get the faster A16 chip, while the lower versions will continue with the A15 chip
- Possible 8GB RAM for the Pro models
- Car crash detection feature for both iPhone and Apple Watch
- iPhone 14 models will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon X65 modem, which is the world’s first 10 Gigabit 5G modem and antenna system for smartphones
- iPhone 14 Pro models are expected to feature WiFi 6E connectivity
- iPhone 14 to start with 256GB minimum storage capacity and will have a larger 2TB option
- iPhone 14 and 14 Pro models may launch without a physical SIM slot, with Apple transitioning to an eSIM-only design
- iPhone 14 Pro could start at $1,099 and the iPhone 14 Pro Max could start at $1,199
- Apple is holding a “Far Out” event on Wednesday, September 7, where it is expected to unveil the new iPhone 14 models.
