If you find yourself in the middle of the sweltering heat of Sahara or lost in Angkor Wat on your next escapades, make sure you’ll have this latest wearable from Sony called Reon Pocket. The manufacturer has just unveiled a palm-sized wearable device that you can tuck under your shirt and it’s capable of keeping you cool and sweat-free on your next travels to countries near the equator.
The wearable thermo-device is used with a comfortable polyester shirt with a pocket holder at the back to hold the mini A/C. It can be controlled via a smartphone app which will allow its user to adjust the temperature and other settings.
However, if you want the device to automatically adjust its temperature for you, it’s smart enough to detect in-shirt body temperature and movement and sets an appropriate temperature level. Users can also save customized settings and even set timers.
The Reon Pocket will be available for ¥13,000 for the device itself and ¥1,800 for the special shirt it slides. In conclusion, it’s a good idea to have that on-the-go A/C however, we just wish that it can be wear like a necklace without the need for that special shirt holder.
