Sony has just finally announced the price and release date of its highly-anticipated next-generation gaming console —-the PlayStation 5. This seemingly is a direct answer to an earlier announcement made by rival Microsoft with its Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S along with a price range of $499 and $299, respectively.
During the event, the company revealed the standard disc edition will be priced at $499.99 while its all-digital version will cost $399.99. Pre-order might have started as we speak with availability in the US, Japan, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea on November 12th and the rest of the world on November 19th.
