Fallout 4 Won Best Game at British Academy Awards

The popular action and role-playing game(RPG) Fallout 4 has just won the British Academy Awards(BAFTA) for the Best Game of 2016.

It was an interesting night, notably, Fallout 4 might be the only one of the biggest names of the gaming industry to share the limelight of the event with majority of independent titles. Three independent titles took most of the awards that night.

UK-developed Her Story and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, and Rocket League by San Diego studio Psyonix, each have won three awards.

Her Story alone have won in three categories: Debut Game, Mobile and Handheld Game and Game Innovation. Notably, the game was created in limited budget but sold over 100,000 units on PC, tablet and smartphones.

Batman: Arkham Knight bagged the Best British Game.
