Mobile devices these days are extremely powerful. Other than messaging and calls, you can access a wealth of information with just a flick or tap of a finger on your iPhone 6Plus or iPad Mini 2. In my case, arguably the best use of these mobile devices is for streaming online content. It’s a lot more convenient to watch my favorite shows anytime I want to on HBO Go or Hulu Plus. This doesn’t apply to everyone though. People who live outside the regions where these content services are licensed won’t have the same luxury as me. In order to get the most out of your iDevices, you’ll need to configure it to work with UnoTelly’s UnoDNS.
What is UnoTelly and UnoDNS?
UnoTelly is a service that allows you to access content from providers like Netflix, BeIN Sports, and HBO Go, even if you’re outside of the countries where they’re licensed. It does this through UnoDNS, a smart DNS technology that allows content providers to see your IP as originating from regions that are allowed to view their content. Currently, UnoTelly has support for more than 250 content channels from all over the world. The content covered by these channels range from sports, music, TV, and news. Once you’ve configured an UnoDNS Dynamo-enabled server on your iPhone 6 or 6Plus, you can expect to access a majority of these channels and content at your fingertips.
Intuitive and Easy to Configure
Speaking of configurations, you shouldn’t have any issues with setting up UnoDNS or UnoDNS Dynamo on an iDevice (or any device for that matter). The first thing that you’ll need to do is ensure that you’re connected to your own wireless network and have access to the internet. If you already have a subscription (or if you’ve started the free trial), go to your account and then take note of the UnoDNS Dynamo enabled server closest to your region/location. You’ll then need to access the network settings on your iDevice so that you can manually replace your default DNS with either UnoDNS or UnoDNS Dynamo. You can then verify if the set up was successful by logging in to your account. If you configured your device with a UnoDNS Dyamo enabled server then you can easily access content from different regions with the click of a button on your UnoTelly account.
Priced Just Right
What about the price? At first I thought that this type of service would cost an arm and a leg. Fortunately, I was wrong. You can test out the service for 8 days without having to pay a single cent. If you like it, then you can proceed to choosing between the Premium Plan which costs S4.95 or the Gold Plan which is priced at $7.95. Either of these plans will enable you to access UnoTelly’s 300+ free and paid channels on as many iDevices as you want. Of course, you will need to pay for the subscriptions of channels that require one, so you might want to take that into consideration when deciding to get this service.
Are there Any Alternatives?
There are numerous alternatives to UnoTelly’s service. A VPN solution might be viable for accessing all kinds of region locked content. You might also want to consider proxy servers. However, take note that they might not offer a similar experience as with UnoTelly’s UnoDNS. With UnoDNS, you can expect faster download speeds and less buffering time for streaming even HD content. Although it ensures secure and private browsing of online content, VPN is rather costly and sometimes hard to set up for iDevices. However, if you’re looking for a solution that allows you to stream online content in a secure manner then you might as well get UnoVPN, which happens to be included in UnoTelly’s Gold Plan.
