The UHDTV we’ve shown you during CES 2014 early this year mainly supports 4K video and lately Japanese electronics giants Panasonic and Sony has just unveiled their flagship devices to support 4K video recordings —-ready to further cement the breakout for the new trend. Now accessories for this new technology will automatically follow, how about Sandisk’s latest flagship, the Extreme Pro SDHC/SDXC UHS-II ultra-high speed SD card?
Sandisk U3 SDXC card supports up to 250MB/s continuous write speeds and mostly aimed for videographers shooting 4K video. Not to mention, this compact SD card can support continuous RAW stills at high frame rates.
The Extreme Pro SDHC/SDXC UHS-II ultra-high speed SD card will be available in April in 16GB to 64GB capacities with starting $120 to $300 price range.
In addition, there will be also a $50 MSRP new U3 card reader designed to fully utilize SDXC card’s 280MB/s transfer speeds.
