For the meantime, stop dreaming about Apple’s iWatch –as for the time the Cupertino-giant have finally decided to make it real, Samsung might have just won the race with its own Samsung Galaxy Gear.
According to Korea Times in an interview published on Tuesday, Samsung’s executive vice president of mobile Lee Young-hee revealed that they will unveil the smartwatch on September 4th, a week earlier than the slated Apple Event on September 10th for the iPhone 5S official announcement. Though according to Lee, Galaxy Gear will be a concept device and added that it wouldn’t feature flexible screen display, but he did not comment on further details of the smartwatch.
September 4 is just around the corner and Lee also added that the Galaxy Note 3 will be also one of the highlight of the event though again he remains in secrecy when ask for specific details about the device.
Like Apple’s step on adding the Gold iPhone 5S on its smartphone armory, Samsung seemed to be on same strategic research as smartwatch is expected to have brighter future in just five years knowing it’s integrable from other handheld devices such as laptops, tablets and smartphones or even your own car.
