Detroit’s North American International Auto Show (NAIS 2013) has debuted to the world the most powerful in Audi’s RS bloodlines that are available in the U.S. –it’s the 2014 Audi RS 7. However, upon introduction the availability and pricing details are not yet available until finally the auto maker released the pricing for the RS 7, read after the break.
Owning the all-new 2014 Audi RS 7 will cost you around $104,900 USD and expect this car to be in display on showrooms in the US this fall.
With that price range you’ll have a luxury sports car that is capable of 0 to 60mph speed of 3.7 seconds and a top speed on the track of 174 mph. Audi RS 7 will also feature a twin-turbo 4.0 TFSI V8 engine offering 560 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque fitted with an 8-speed automatic Tiptronic transmission used alongside an Audi quattro all-wheel drive system.
This car also features a technology that deactivates cylinders(2, 3, 5, and 8) automatically when on constant speed to improve fuel consumption. Running on active 4-cylinders, RS 7’s mileage is increased by 15-percent. Audi also enhanced the engine mount to handle the vibration caused when the engine’s cylinder numbers shifted.
Talking about the exterior, RS 7 will sports a Singleframe grille in high-gloss black or aluminum matte, honeycomb grille inserts and auto-dimming, heated, and power-folding side mirrors. While inside, there will be a three-spoke steering wheel with an RS 7 emblem with Valcona leather sports seats and carbon fiber inlays.
