The most technologically advance smartphone ever that goes out of the Cupertino-giant’s design lab tops Time Magazine’s Gadget of the Year. Let’s take a look at why Time placed Apple’s latest smartphone on the top and what other compelling devices have made it on the top 10.
According to Time Magazine on why they chose iPhone 5, “…one of the most artfully polished gadgets anyone’s ever built, with a taller screen than previous iPhones built into a thinner, lighter case.” You can also add its technological influences in terms of mobile devices and the amount of demand this smartphone is getting worldwide.
Apparently, the most powerful competition from the Android side didn’t make it to the top ten list, yes, that’s the Samsung Galaxy S3 though its larger siblings the Galaxy Note II made it to number 8.
Another worthy new Apple product has made it on the top 10, the Macbook Pro with Retina Display along with other innovative gadgets such the Wii U, Sony Cyber-shot RX100, Raspberry Pi Model B, Simple.TV, Nest thermostat, Microsoft Surface RT, and Lytro camera.
