Toyota have just outed their Toyota NS4 Advanced Plug-In Hybrid Concept back in Detroit with the final variant of Prius. The company’s latest concept envisions the “future mobility with a focus on connectivity and the human interface.” And today the automaker unveils a new framework for vehicle development directed for making its cars exceed customer expectations in terms of performance, aesthetics and design. Toyota seemed to have been on its mark, as the NS4 gives the first hint as the flagship design of the new framework.
The car maker said in a statement, “Toyota, as stated in its Global Vision, will continue its efforts to manufacture cars that provide joy and exceed customer expectations in each respective region while also working to contribute to the building of better communities and societies.”
To give you a brief idea if you haven’t checked NS4’s features in terms of its integration, Toyota develops NS4’s Human-Machine Interface with Microsoft, Intel and Salesforce to boast a smartphone-like design that can handle multimedia and vehicle-controls, the HMI system is capable of “learning” driver preferences and habits to predict driver responses in specific scenarios.
Now we would love to see that even on models like the toyota aurion, or should be option for upgrades on several new Toyota vehicles. However, if this design will only be on production until NS4, we will be waiting till 2015.
