The search and emerging mobile OS -giant Google has put rivalries aside to pay tribute to a great innovator and creative genius Steve Jobs. Google’s search homepage, under its mighty search box, features an emblem that reads “Steve Jobs, 1955-2011” that directly links to Apple homepage that also features a tribute to late Apple CEO.
The Cupertino-giant announced that Steve Jobs has passed away on Wednesday.
Looking back on his words back on August when he left as Apple CEO, “I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know,” Jobs wrote. “Unfortunately, that day has come.”
