Seriously, the proponents of Apple’s new iCloud service never saw this one coming?
Apparently, those at Cupertino haven’t done their research correctly before pitching the ‘iCloud’ name. Which leads to the somewhat predictable court battle. The Arizona-based iCloud Communications VoIP provider claims that is has used the ‘iCloud’ name since 2005 and is demanding Apple to get rid of all its ‘iCloud’ marketing materials, pay damages, and even invalidate the ‘iCloud’ trademark. Like with all other lawsuits, this one will probably be settled quietly with a probably exchange of dollars.
