Samsung isn’t the only one making Chrome goodness as Google announces Acer’s version of the ChromeBook. This is powered by an Intel Atom N570 processor at 16GB SDD, also has instant on that promises an 8-second boot up time, two USB ports, an HDMI output and a battery to last for 6.5 hours of activity. The Acer ChromeBook will be available on the same day as Samsung’s offering — June 15, but is priced cheaper at $349. More pics and the press release below.
