You’ve probably guessed the next question consumers are going to ask upon hearing the AT&T/T-Mobile acquisition and the latter immediately gave an answer that basically shattered the iPhone dreams of its subscribers. Seeming like they’ve anticipated this question, the provider has posted this tidbit on their site after the announcement regarding the transition has been made
“T-Mobile USA remains an independent company. The acquisition is expected to be completed in approximately 12 months. We do not offer the iPhone. We offer cutting edge devices like the Samsung Galaxy S 4G and coming soon our new Sidekick 4G.”
Other facts from that same FAQ state that despite the acquisition, T-Mobile will still continue to operate the same way prior and as for price changes, they said that they’ll honor contracts that are entered into before the change of ownership. Pretty vague, but you get the idea they’re putting here.
