Apple rumored to hold an event in early April for iOS 5, MobileMe

German site Macerkopf.de supposedly claims that they’ve received word from a reliable source that Apple will hold an event this early April to introduce iOS 5 and the improved services for MobileMe. If we are to backtrack a little, this pattern of events is fairly consistent with what they’ve done the past year. Apple announced and gave us a preview of iOS 4 on April 8, 2010 which aimed to get third party developers to to join in for their new hardware, particularly the iPhone 4. This time, the same event is speculated for the eventual release of the iPhone 5. Consequently, they’re also supposedly introducing a new version of MobileMe. We’ll get back to this rumor as more details come out.
