After Carphone Warehouse revealed their Samsung Galaxy Tab price of £530 ($850), this time Vodafone Germany shows their price tag for the slate nearing its due launch date of November 1st. Voda offers Samsung’s 7-inch Android tablet with a €730 ($1,017) for unlocked 16GB version, and a €300 ($418) with two-year data plan at €35 a month.
These gives us a vague reason why consumers will have Galaxy Tab for an “alternative” versus a €30-less cheaper 32GB iPad WiFi + 3G?
Dear Samsung, we want to consider Galaxy Tab over iPad, but with your carrier offerings –forget it. Better start with humble beginnings, and impress us –yet, better learn from Nokia.
