Game giant Nintendo has been silent of what their newest entry to the portable gaming market, the 3DS will have. But this didn’t stop the great guys at IGN, who have scoured through their complex network of sources, to come up with what seems to be feasible specifications for the portable gaming console. Some of the specifications in the rumor mill include two 266MHz ARM11 CPUs, 133MHz graphics processor, 4MB dedicated VRAM, 64MB RAM, and 1.5GB flash storage. Now, in looking deeper into these specifications, having two separate processors is feasible, as the original DS had a 67MHz ARM9 and a 33.5MHz ARM7 for processors.
Other rumors include it’s price and release date as Nintendo is planning to announce them at September 29. Price rumors are running between $249 and $299 while release dates are speculated to go from October to March 2011. Just remember, take all of these with a grain of salt until Nintendo makes their official statement.
