B&N Nook, Amazon Kindle and now to not-so-surprising announcement, Sony just got into the e-book reader price wars making it official with a price-cut on its three models. Making Sony’s Pocket Edition from $169 to $149, Touch Edition drops from $199 to $169 and a $50 axed on 3G-equipped Daily Edition now at $299.
However, it seems that Sony compared to B&N and Kindle is still way behind the competition, with users may finally give on same priced Wifi-equipped Nook rather than the Pocket Edition which missing that feature, same with its $299 Daily Edition which is a hard-sell for that price range.
