Hexacore 3.2GHz Intel Core i7-970 CPU pops at Newegg

Unsurprisingly, the six-core Intel Core-i7-970 processor we’ve been inching to see hit the Mac Pro’s CPU has now revealed in a Newegg listing priced $899.99. Intel’s octa-core CPU got me goosebumps, this one is a bit short giving six 3.2GHz cores which can give you an opt for hard video rendering, gaming and multitasking-prone rig.

Apparently, overclockers will also love this six-core goodies, yeah, it also support  Intel’s Turbo Boost overclocking technology. Be warned that Newegg only allows 10 unit per customer, if you got 10 rigs at home to build –approximately that’s $9k worth of 6-core glory, 12MB of L3 cache, 130W TDP and both a heatsink and fan.

If you’re planning to buy 10 units (we kid), seriously build your dream rig or upgrade, hit on Newegg listing below: Intel Core i7-970 3.2GHz LGA 1366 130W Six-Core Desktop Processor
