After Sharp debuted the new AQUOS LE820 LCDs that features Quattron quad-pixel technology, the new line of HDTVs is now stamp to be capable of playing 1080p DivX HD files from a connected USB drive. After that, now the company should work on their 3D TVs, since it has been silent on the scene against competitions that already embraced the new technology on their devices.

If you don’t necessary know what DivX Plus HD means, well it is a marketing name for a file type using the standard Matroska media container format (.mkv), rather than the proprietary DivX Media Format. So basically, there’s no need to rip your DVDs if you have an MKV copy on your external drive.
