Bloomberg claims that Palm has officially tick the sale flag tapping Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Frank Quattrone’s Qatalyst Partners to find buyers according to anonymous sources familiar with the matter. Dell is also named bidder but apparently backed out according to sources.
If you’ve been reading the news for the past few weeks sure you stumble upon rumors regarding Palm on state of negotiation for a possible buy from Lenovo and HTC. And this could be the official hint that the recent rumors are true since Sunnyvale-based smartphone maker is reportedly seeking bids as early as this week.
