While Sony is testing their Bravia 3D TVs on their Style Stores, Samsung has launched their 3D TV on the far South Korea according to Reuters. And part of their plans is to widen the new 3D technology up to 2 million 3D TVs this year.
Meanwhile, Samsung 3D TVs are already available for pre-order in the US as reported recently. The Samsung C7000 3D TV Series features 240Hz Clear Motion technology, Internet@TV, DLNA and the new Samsung App platform. After we learn how 3D works, we wish for viewing without 3D glasses but apparently Samsung still uses 3D glasses which is sold separately.
Part of Samsungs strategy to boost sales is its venture with Dreamworks Animation South Korea for the 3D content for its 3D TVs. Samsung 3D TVs is due for global launch next month.
