ASUS ROG graphics card seems to be an overclocked ATI Radeon HD 5870 of up to 1080MHz possible from the GPU and 5.2Gbps from the memory (2GB DDR5). It has a multi-media connection with DVI, Display Port and HDMI output as well as multimeter voltage monitoring and a pair of eight-pin PCI Express power connectors. The ROG HD 5870 also has a Safe Mode button that resets the card whenever it fails from your current configuration. Accordingly it doesn’t run any over-clocking background application (ease on configuration) but instead ASUS software that will save your settings on ROG graphics card.
According to Zol, the ROG HD 5870 will be available immediately but pricing still yet to determine.
