AT&T iPhone MMS Service launching September 25 announced

AT&T has just announced that the anticipated MMS activation for iPhone users is on September 25. This was just as expected since the launch of iPhone OS 3.0 last June but delayed due AT&T’s network infrastructure further development and upgrade to handle the demand of sure heavy volumes of MMS messaging.

We’ve been working for the past several months to prepare our systems and network to ensure the best possible experience with MMS when it launches – and that launch date is: September 25 for iPhone 3G and 3GS customers. MMS will be enabled through a software update on that day.

The MMS service has gone live on other countries with carriers capable of supporting the service since the new iPhone OS is released. AT&T subscribers is surely in flare about this news, and knowing these MMS messaging will be included at no additional cost to users with an iPhone text messaging plan as announced in June.

Then I know if you’re an iPhone user you would tell us (at the comment form) what is the first MMS message you would try to send using the MMS service?
