The third largest mobile phone manufacturer LG has recently announced its application store to cater mobile applications with targeted Asian consumers and a year-end worldwide expansion. The online store will likely to serve like your RIM and Apple app stores.
The online store will be named as “LG Application Store” and it will have 1,400 applications which include 100 free programs that will be available for 15 languages. LG’s offerings will be first available for Asia-Pacific countries like Singapore and Malaysia, and eventually to cater South America and Europe at year end with 2,000 apps.
