WWDC 2009 Banners One Year Later, Light-Years Ahead –App Store success

Getting ahead of the Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference 2009 the company has started putting banners 6 days prior to the event. “One year later. Light-years ahead.” –the theme mainly suggests the success of the App store that’s basically tells that the event will center on app development.

The theme refers to the iTunes App Store that was launched less than one year ago, came out to be a major success bringing 1 billion download for its first nine months.

We can clearly tell that the WWDC discussions will center on the upcoming iPhone 3.0 firmware and mainly (everyone’s waiting for) the introduction of the new iPhone.

Phil Schiller will give the keynote address for the WWDC 2009 kick off on June 8th.
