Sony has shown all the accessories for the new PSP Go, which includes cases, screen protectors, component AV cables and more that will be available too for October 1, US release. The sad thing about here is if you have an older PSP-3000 and has some of its accessories it would be non-sense upon upgrading since PSP Go will be using multifunction port rather than the mini-USB port, so you have to buy all those add-ons.
The PSP Go will be using a do-it-all port that is used for all the device functions like data transfer to charging and other. Getting out of the mini-USB port and not resorting for backward compatibility have set the deal-breaker for PSP Go. What more the other third-party add-ons?
We can still put some hope, if Sony will allow trading for hardware parts accessories and cables since they have plans for a trade-in program for UMD games.
