Sony OLED-equipped NWZ-X1000 series Walkman

Sony has just announced OLED-equipped NWZ-X1000 series walkman Japan released date to April 25. The X series comes in 32GB NWZ-X1060 and 16GB NWZ-X1050 with expected store price of about 50,000 yen (US $500) and 40,000 yen, consecutively. Read full details after the break.

Available in black and red color, the NWZ-X1000 series sports 3.0-/ 240 × 432 dot Organic EL display, audio player, one-segment TV / FM tuner, video playback capability, wireless LAN and Web browser. The user interface design is a combination of touch panel and capacitance expression “hybrid operation” to improve handling.

In addition, it’s powered by Sonic Stage V music software and supports MP3/HE-AAC/AAC/WMA / Linear PCM / ATRAC / ATRAC Advanced Lossless and MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video and MPEG-4, WMV respond.

As of now no words on US and Europe availability date, but sure to have Sony assures their future announcements.
