Acer and NVIDIA unveiled AspireRevo –the first NVIDIA ION based PC

Acer AspireRevo is the first NVIDIA ION based PC as announced by NVIDIA and Acer. This NVIDIA Ion based PC was first rumored as “Acer Hornet” which came out to be a project name. After tight speculations, finally NVIDIA shows off ION platform AspireRevo. View full details after the break.

Built in size of hardcover book, AspireRevo proves that size don’t matters, as it’s able to run on Windows Vista Home Premium and deliver stunning display 1080p HD video and quality 7.1 audio. Its NVIDIA ION graphics performance shows of what to be a gamer –runs Call of Duty 4 and Spore and supports on NVIDIA CUDA and DirectX 10.

Acer AspireRevo sports Intel Atom 230 or Atom 330 CPU, up to 4GB RAM, SATA or SSD storage, NVIDIA ION GPU, a VESA attachment, and Wi-Fi (802.11n on selected AspireRevo models). The Acer AspireRevo features 6 USB ports, HDMI, Ethernet, eSATA, a four-in-one card reader, and a VGA connector.

There still no words on AspireRevo’s price and availability but Acer Hornet rumors shows of market price lower than $299.
