Google releases Voice Search App for BlackBerrys

Google released a new mobile application that brings its Voice Search feature for BlackBerrys(Obama will like this), which have come earlier in iPhone and T-Mobile G1.

The new Google Mobile App works simply by holding down the talk button on your Blackberry and speak your search term on the phone. The application also includes Google’s My Locations which serves search results base on your location, shortcuts to several Google services, such as Gmail, Maps, News, and Reader.

In addition, Brits holding their BlackBerrys will be happy to know that it will now supports British English accents. The new app requires you have to have BlackBerry OS 4.1 or higher and BlackBerry OS 4.2 or higher for Voice Search.

To get Google Mobile App on your BlackBerry, you can point your phone’s browser to Google Mobile.
