Dell Mini 10 features Intel Atom Z530 processor 1.60GHz, 160GB HD, 1GB DDR2 SDRAM, weighs 2.6lbs, 1.3MP built-in camera, and 10.1-inch display. At $399 you’ll get standard 1.3GHz Atom processor, 1GB RAM and a 160GB HD. Mini 10 than comes in colors other that black would have an added painting jobs fee of $30.
One very interesting feature Dell mini 10 is its new touchpad implementation. The touchpad works like an integrated mouse buttons and touchpad which allows user to register a click; it also offers unique touch features such as placing your hand flat on it as a shortcut for minimizing all windows to get to the desktop. The Mini 10 keyboard also appears to be much more user friendly for those with larger sized fingers.
Few more offerings from Dell would come later by April or spring with Mini 10 higher resolution option of WXGA 1366 x 768, integrated digital TV tuner, integrated broadband and GPS will be available.
