Apple have struggled bringing iPhone to China with a broken deals to countries largest provider –China Mobile. Apparently, bringing in China Unicom was a great deal, with its over 125 million GSM subscribers.
The question here is that, China is know for cheap electronics, introducing such a sophisticated Apple iPhone will be a great challenge for China Unicom assuming that they will subsidized the phone. Looking on the positive perspective by introducing iPhone it will attract more clients, expand its market share and improve its business performance in a short term and made an impression on the competitions.
I believe there’s come a time that one half of the population of the world will have the iPhone units in their hands, knowing China have 1/3 of it.
Now Steve Jobs have to deliver his keynote in Mandarin.
