Apple iPhone OS 3.0 sneak preview on March 17th

Apple calls for “advance preview of what we’re building,” and it’s going to be on March 17th on the said Special event. Apple will roll a major firmware update for the iPhone, with coming version 3.0. We’ll get a sneak peak at the new OS, as well as a look at a brand new version of the SDK.

The iPhone 3.0 firmware is rumored to support multi-core CPUs and background processes. No future features have been leaked yet but we heard MMS and tethering via Bluetooth and USB are included in this firmware update. How about the copy-and-paste? How about a new iPhone 2009?

Let’s see few days from now. If you have any expectations on the upcoming OS share it here.
