Dell's Inspiron Mini 10

Dell Inspiron Mini 10 a.k.a. Eee PC killer is now up for grab, bringing its colorful netbooks collection up for order which starts at $399. You can set your own preference slightly, shines with your favorite colors with $30 added for the painting job, except for the default color of black. I bet you’ll select the pink colored Inspiron, why? Find out after the break.

When I got at the order page of Dell, what got me curious about is the “Dell will donate $5.00 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure”. And finding who this woman is and what is her illness to be cured –as the first comes out of my mind. My first action is to googled “Susan G. Komen”, and a site appears, and now I know, it’s a breast cancer foundation. There I also consider finding the whole story about Susan.

Here’s what’s about the foundation:

Susan G. Komen fought breast cancer with her heart, body and soul. Throughout her diagnosis, treatments, and endless days in the hospital, she spent her time thinking of ways to make life better for other women battling breast cancer instead of worrying about her own situation. That concern for others continued even as Susan neared the end of her fight. Moved by Susan’s compassion for others and committed to making a difference, Nancy G. Brinker promised her sister that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever.

That promise is now Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $1 billion since inception in 1982. As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, we’re working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®, and generous contributions from our partners, sponsors and fellow supporters, we have become the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.

Amazingly, I discover something out-of-the-box from colored Pink Dell Inspiron mini 10. By the way, let’s go back with the mini 10 that comes at standard 1.33GHz Z530 Atom processor(can be upgraded), but there’s no expanding beyond the 1GB of RAM or the 160GB HDD, as per the international netbook treaty. This specs seems good enough for mini’s, but if your looking for more advance and powerful multimedia desktop why not take a look at Dell Studio XPS 435?

Now, go find a girlfriend and buy her a Pink Inspiron mini 10(ship date is set preliminarily by April 2nd), shed some love not only for her but for those people like Susan that keeps on inspiring peoples. Thanks to Dell for supporting this organization of good deeds.
