Came “Antennagate” from the previous version of iPhone, today the social media and tech sites are now abuzz with the new phablet model iPhone’s “Bendgate” issue which shows off the newly announced iPhone 6 Plus that bends easily through hand force or when even just placed on skinny tight jeans. In response, the Cupertino-giant opened its doors to show its iPhone testing labs which the devices undergone before it hit the shelves. You can check out the video posted on tech site Re/code showing off various laboratory tests for the new iPhone 6 Plus.
In a statement, Apple said they “perform rigorous tests throughout the entire development cycle including 3-point bending, pressure point cycling, sit, torsion, and user studies. iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus meet or exceed all of our high quality standards to endure everyday, real life use.”
In a snap, the ‘bendgate’ trends worldwide through several ‘bend test’ done by popular sites which even spread quickly through Twitter and Facebook by concerned consumers which mostly bashing on how the slim-aluminum profile of the new iPhone 6 Plus is susceptible to bending and deformation.
