For the first time, NASA’s twin GRAIL spacecraft has captured a video of the Moon’s far side. The 30-second video after the cut features the “Moon’s heavily cratered, rough surface; notable sights include Moon’s north pole, the 560-mile-wide Mare Orientale impact basin and, near the bottom of the screen, the 93-mile-wide Drygalski crater.” Enjoy the video like if you’ve listened to Pink Floyd’s most successful album.
