This is something new besides from the Nikon D800 and Canon’s recently announced replacement for 1D/1Ds –the Canon 1D X full-frame SLR camera. Beyond the spherical horizon of this world, ooh, literally —- a team behind the Cygnus “spacecraft” have sent a weather balloon along with beer cooler contraption to photograph the freezing ring of the world.
Inside the box was a Nikon D300s DSLR fitted with Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 lens which manage to capture some really great photos though some of them is a bit obscure due to ice build-up. We just wonder what setup the camera has when it was thrown in the outer space.
Needless to say, besides the Nikon D300s this makes Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 lens a valuable investment for nature photogs out there.
