Apple releases MacBook Pro Graphics Firmware Update 1.0 to aid vertical lines or distorted graphics intended 17inch MacBook

Apple started the year with a bang, with its new 17 inch MacBook Pro, just to find out an unnecessary appearance of vertical lines or distorted graphics on the notebook display. Considering this major issue Apple released MacBook Pro Graphics Firmware Update 1.0 aimed for all users of the new unibody 17″ MacBook Pro –so what if it’s a hardware graphics card issue?

Many users have reported this issue with reference to ever-loaded Apple’s discussion forum for the vertical lines and distorted screen. Hope this updates fixed it.

Apparently, technically speaking when I heard about the issue I believe there’s something wrong about the graphic hardware and not on the software side. What I mean is the common problem for graphics card. Where it can’t handles too much heat and producing the said issues.

Apple’s support document provides instructions on how to install the update and determine whether it successfully installs. The download weighs in at 770 KB. Hit up the read links below for the documents and instructions.

If someone has installed it and did feel the its solve the issue, feel free to share it here.
